On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by a member of our team, who will transfer you to House of Waine and assist you at check in. The rest of your day will be spent at Leisure. Lunch will be on own arrangement. Dinner and overnight Stay at The House of Waine. Immersed in the leafy surrounds of Kenya’s beautiful Karen Forest is the elegant House of Waine – an upmarket retreat, which offers guests intimacy and superb accommodation. Guests can unwind in one of 11 individually decorated suites —each with a spacious, marble en-suite bathroom, satellite television, a complimentary personal non-alcoholic mini-bar, TV with satellite and local channels, and tea and coffee-making facilities. House of Waine offers a wonderful selection of menus, served in various locations on the property, which reflect the diversity of flavours found in Nairobi. There are also two bars, which are exclusively for the use of guests and a sparkling heated swimming pool for those quiet hours between sightseeing. Must-see attractions include a visit to Kazuri Beads, the Karen Blixen Museum, Matbronze Art Gallery and Foundry, Giraffe Centre (to hand feed giraffes and for nature walks), the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Sanctuary – where you can interact with (and perhaps adopt) elephants and rhinos – and the renowned Nairobi National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for schedule flight aircraft departing to Amboseli at 07:30 hours and arriving at Amboseli airstrip at 08:10 hours and on arrival met by our staff in 4×4 vehicle and transferred to Tortilis camp with game drives en-route arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, relax a bit before departing for your afternoon game drive in the reserve. Amboseli National park is famous for being one of the best places in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. The park sits on the lower slopes of the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Major attractions are the large herds of elephants, Mt Kilimanjaro which is clearly visible above the clouds in an early morning, the big five and other animals including buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals

Spend time exploring the marvels of Amboseli national park with the magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain on the continent. Amboseli is known for its highest population of elephants.

After breakfast at the camp, you will be transferred to airstrip for schedule flight to Nairobi departing at 08:20 hours and arriving at 09.00 hours and on arrival connect to onward schedule flight to Meru departing at 09:15 hours and arriving Meru at 10;35 hours. On arrival you will be met by our staff in a 4×4 vehicle and transferred to the camp with game drives en-route. Check in at the camp and relax till lunch time. Lunch at the Camp followed by a little time for relaxation before embarking on your afternoon game drive returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight Meru National park offers the widest variety of landscapes and habitats together with different varieties of Flora and Fauna. Wildlife includes Grevy’s Zebra, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Leopard, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Hartebeest, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo and more than 300 recorded species.

It is the Meru National Park landscapes that fueled the Adamson’s passions, and became home to Elsa and her family. There is no better way to orientate yourself in this landscape than through a guided game drive and a picnic breakfast in the bush. The guides at Elsa’s Kopje live in Meru National Park and know the area intimately. With a fleet of new Toyota Land Cruisers, outfitted with photographic equipment stands and charging sockets, you will experience total comfort as you exclusively explore this seldom-visited bush.

After breakfast you will be assisted to transfer to the local airstrip for your flight to Wilson airport, Nairobi. You have an option for a day room. Later on you will be dropped off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward flight.
